Manji Motorsports (“we”), 215 N Eucalyptus Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301, runs this website, the customer portal and the shop software our staff use for Repair Orders. This policy explains what information we keep and why. Our SMS Terms and Conditions explain our text messages.
Information we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and address.
- Billing information: estimates, invoices and payments.
- Service information: your vehicle details (make, model, VIN, mileage), the work we inspect and do, photos and videos of your vehicle, and your approvals.
- Information you give us through phone calls, text messages, website forms, emails or in person.
- When you use the customer portal or a link we send you: the pages you viewed and when. Your IP address is stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form.
How we use your information
- To provide auto care services and customer support.
- To schedule appointments.
- To send appointment reminders and service updates.
- To process payments and answer billing questions.
- To respond to your requests.
- To send SMS (text) messages, only when you have given consent.
- To keep your vehicle history and our business records.
How we share your information
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and we do not use advertising trackers.
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business, and they must protect it and use it only for that work: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), RingCentral (phone calls and text messages) and Intuit QuickBooks (accounting). We also share it when the law requires. People you add to your customer portal account see the vehicles you share with them.
SMS consent
You can agree to receive text messages from Manji Motorsports by ticking the SMS consent box on the request form on our website, or by telling a Manji Motorsports representative during a phone call or in person. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any service.
SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only for the purposes you agreed to. Text STOP at any time to stop. Details are in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Accounting (QuickBooks)
Our shop software sends invoices, payments and the customer name and billing details needed for them to our own QuickBooks Online company, run by Intuit, so we can keep our books. Purchases on our company card are read back from QuickBooks to record parts costs. The connection is used only by Manji Motorsports for its own accounting, and the access keys are stored encrypted.
How long we keep it
Repair Orders and vehicle records are kept as business and legal records. You can ask us to correct your details, or to remove personal details that we are not required to keep.
